Preorder Options for EOS R6 Mark III and RF 45mm f/1.2 STM

Many preorder options are opening up for the EOS R6 Mark III and RF 45mm f/1.2 STM. B&H will save the tax with the Payboo credit card, and the Canon Store has traditionally been one of the fastest to fulfill orders. PROCAM is a great alternative, as they do not collect tax on orders shipped to most states. Adorama is also listing the camera and typically has a great first allocation.

We’re still working on street price pre-order deals and will post when they are available. We recommend that you preorder first at traditional dealers to get in the queue. You can always cancel preorders later, before the item ships.

Canon EOS R6 Mark III: In-Depth Field Review by B&H

Featured Video Play Icon

B&H Photo has put together a great landing page for the newly launched EOS R6 Mark III and RF 45mm f/1.2 STM, along with a great in-depth field review video for the camera.

Canon’s EOS R6 Mark III adds onto the R6 Mark II with a higher-resolution 32.5MP sensor, faster 40 fps shooting, and expanded video options, including 7K open-gate RAW and 4K 120p recording. B&H’s video takes a closer look at how these upgrades perform in real-world conditions — from weddings to wildlife — and examines whether the R6 Mark III leans more toward still photography, video production, or a balanced hybrid role for creators.

Canon announced the EOS R6 Mark III, a 32.5MP full-frame camera, offering both top-tier photo and video performance with 7K RAW recording, 40 fps shooting, and advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF II. Compared to the R6 Mark II, it delivers higher resolution (32.5MP vs. 24.2MP), 7K/120p video capability, stronger 8.5-stop stabilization, and dual CFexpress + SD card slots. Also announced is the compact and lightweight RF 45mm f/1.2 STM.

New Canon Camera To Be Announced Tonight (Thursday 1 AM ET)

Canon is announcing new gear tonight, with a product launch scheduled for 1 AM ET on Thursday (tonight). It’s widely expected that they will announce the EOS R6 Mark III at that time.

Some dealers, such as B&H, have already put up teaser pages with Canon’s “Elevate Your Image” slogan. These pages will likely be populated with the new camera or lenses shortly after the announcement.

If you’re interested in landing one of these new items, it’s recommended that you preorder immediately after the 1 AM announcement. We’ll post more details as they become available.
